Meet the Maker
“I am deeply inspired by color and and abstract forms. My work is not a traditional style of mosaic. The pieces have a strong sculptural quality, are multi-dimensional, reflective and intricate.”
About
I am an Asheville, North Carolina- based artist that creates small-scale abstract glass mosaic pieces. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Arts Administration, my long journey through exhibition design, museum administration, and art gallery ownership has brought me to a place where I can thoughtfully create. I became intrigued with mosaics after a weekend workshop many years ago in Topanga Canyon, CA, and have been working with themedium on and off ever since. Earlier mosaic projects have included the design and installation of glass mosaic tile for interiors, but current work is more intimate and meticulously abstract.
