Museum of Costume Jewelry
In the heart of vibrant downtown Asheville, the Museum of Costume Jewelry is a one-of-a-kind space dedicated to providing a home for the artistry, history, and craftsmanship of costume jewelry. Our collection of more than 750 pieces spans 33 exhibits tracing the eras that shaped costume jewelry — from Art Nouveau and Art Deco through Hollywood glamour and contemporary design. Along the way, it highlights the designers who defined those eras, including Coco Chanel, Elsa Schiaparelli, Miriam Haskell, and Christian Dior. Special Christmas exhibit coming in November 2026, and Christian Dior special exhibit coming February 2027.
